Meemo’s Farm is a high-end luxury wing shooting lodge and corporate retreat, located in the heart of Central Lower Michigan on 1,500 incredibly diverse acres
We are looking to add a quality professional Cook to our already dynamic team.
Candidates should have prior cooking experience, preferably in hotel/ resort lodging setting
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Cooks primary focus will be in the preparing of Breakfast and assisting with lunches for our lodge guests, some evening dinner shifts may be required
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the property’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition
- Check and maintain proper food handling and refrigeration temperature control points
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position is desired
- Must be able to communicate clearly with General Manager, Sous Chef, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests
- Possess good communication with the ability to follow through
- Strong organizational and multi – tasking skills
- Attention to detail is essential
- Employee will be self-motivated, with an excellent work ethic
- Strong time management required
- Capable of working unsupervised
- Meemo’s farm is a 7-day a week operation, therefore all kitchen staff must be available and willing to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays
- Full and part time positions available.
